Mirror's Edge is a first person platform video game series developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts.
The action-adventure three-dimensional platform game series is set in a quasi-futuristic dystopian society where life is comfortable and crime almost non-existent. A totalitarian regime monitors all communication, controls the media, spies on its citizens and has policies which include the outright prohibition of smoking and alcohol. A network of runners act as couriers to transmit messages while evading government surveillance.
The player controls the main character Faith with a greater freedom of movement with regard to its 3D environment, using movements inspired by parkour over rooftops, across walls, through ventilation shafts.
